Traveller's Joy  Guesthouse

Situated in Colesberg, Northern Cape, on the N1, halfway between Cape Town and Gauteng, is our grand old, yet modern guesthouse.

Our rooms are luxurious and spacious, all with bathroom en-suite, TV, tea/coffee, fridge, air conditioning and comfortable double or queen size beds.

 

Our guesthouse was built in 1840 and restorated in 2005. The thick walls, high ceilings and beautiful restored wooden floors, ensure a cool and pleasant atmosphere.

 

Although this house is part of our National heritage, we have changed the inside of the house, so that each room is en-suite, has its own separate outside entrance and patio, offering each guest their privacy.

 

We have safe and secure, off the street parking.

 

We are also within walking distance of all the restaurants. Our guests enjoy this early evening stroll, after a long and tiresome journey.

 

 

A plant, by the name of TRAVELLER’S JOY, (Clematis Brachiates)  growing wild in our area, well known for  it's healing and soothing of the tired muscles, is exactly what we want every guest to experience -
to have a pleasant stay and continue their journey well rested.
